We believe a few things pretty fiercely around here.
- That all children (and furbabies) have the purest souls. Every single one of them.
- That families come in every shape, size, and origin story — and all of them are worth celebrating loudly and without apology.
- That representation matters. That a child should be able to open a picture book and see themselves in it — their family, their community, their story — told with love and without footnotes.
- That the messy moments matter just as much as the beautiful ones. Maybe more. The turd in the tub is going in the family legend whether you document it or not. You might as well have a card for it.
- That no parent should feel alone in the early days. Not solo moms. Not long-distance grandparents. Not partners who are holding down the fort and carrying the load.
- That every first deserves a witness.
